A toy car and truck, much loved by their owner. Made for a child to enjoy as early as 1 year old, there are no sharp edges, the window holes allow little fingers to grip, and the finish is a food-safe cutting board oil (because it WILL end up in a mouth!). The truck has a spot in the back for carrying something small, and the handmade wheels roll.

Family of Rattles
Two parents and a child, made with wood from a meaningful apple tree. The rattles inside are permanently trapped with a plug that was glued using water-resistant glue to make sure they don’t escape - even in a wet situation (like a mouth). Made for a child to enjoy as early as they can grasp things, there are no sharp edges and the finish is a food-safe cutting board oil (because those heads WILL end up in a mouth!).

My Toy Chest
A safe space to stow those special things your brother isn’t old enough to get into! Made for a child to be able to use the lid with help as early as 3 years old. The lid slides easily and the rope handles make it possible for a child to drag about on their own. The bottom is equipped with runners that have sloped ends and felt to keep the floor looking nice(er). Made from laminated spruce and pine with dado and rabbet joints for strength, painted and lacquered for durability and easy identification (because the kids will fight about which one is theirs!)

Pencil Cake
Happy Birthday to You! Made for a child to be able to see and access all their pencil crayons. This used a birch tree root that the child collected with someone special. Finished with Danish oil.
