Bree Coffee Table
This coffee table is a Dendros Woodcraft original. Designed and built in 2011 by Aubrey Doerksen, it was the final project for her fourth and final year of technical training as an apprentice cabinetmaker. This project was intended as a piece to challenge and display her skills. After successful completion of this piece and an Interprovincial Red Seal examination, she received her designation of Journeyman Cabinetmaker.
The woods used are jatoba, wenge, anigre, and okume. A triple lapped mitre serves as structure at the centre, large dovetails form the connection between the top and the legs, and French dovetails hold each drawer front in place. Each drawer required individually engineered undermount slides to be able to extend fully and be removed. Finished using lacquer.

George Sideboard*
This cabinet is the perfect small cabinet for games, puzzles, in a small dining room, or as a nightstand. It is made entirely from mahogany, with hand-cut dovetails in the drawer. All panels have solid edges. A Danish oil finish was applied and wet-sanded for a classic look and feel.
This cabinet is meant to be a representation of an antique English Regency era piece. The inspiration piece was found online and is pictured below the images of the George sideboard. It was constructed by Aubrey as a demonstration piece for her students who also built one using their unique design choices in material, profiles, leg shape, and hardware.
Size: 24”W * 28”T * 12”D

Francis Nightstand
This three-drawer nightstand marries traditional and modern using a variety of materials: maple, cherry, baltic birch, and resin. This nightstand was built as a demonstration cabinet for students to reference while building their own as they learned a variety of joinery techniques, machining operations, and hardware installation.
The top drawer features resin infills, machined slides, and hand-cut dovetails in solid maple and dyed cherry. The middle drawer is constructed using machined dovetails and uses side-mount ball-bearing slides. The bottom drawer utilizes rabbet and dado construction and soft-close undermount slides. The profiled top and furniture base add visual interest to the exterior. Finished with a light brown stain and distressed to give it an aged look, then lacquered.
Size: 24”W * 24”H * 15”D

Leah Corner Bench
These two benches fit perfectly into the bay window nook and double as toy boxes or storage. They are built using birch plywood and solid maple, with 1 1/2” foam and upholstery on the lid for comfortable seating. The lids attach with piano hinge and employ soft-close and open piston lifts so that they won’t slam on little fingers or raise too quickly. Finished with a white stain and water-based polyurethane.
Size (each): 16”W * 48”L * 18”H
As shown - each: $550
